How Do You Get A Pass?
A visitor pass starts with a sponsor when the base requires sponsored access. The sponsor must be eligible, and the Visitor Center page identifies eligible sponsors as active and reserve military personnel, military family members over 18, retired military personnel living on-site, and US-citizen government civilians.
For most ordinary guests, the process looks like this:
- Confirm that your sponsor is eligible and has an updated profile.
- Complete the SECNAV 5512/1 form if your access type requires it.
- Use DBIDS pre-enrollment when the base instructions call for it.
